How It Works

Sign Up.  Provide some general background information about yourself.

Wait for an email invitation.  Check your email for an invitation to participate.  You will be asked to confirm your availability and sign a confidentiality agreement before your participation.  Don’t worry if you’re not immediately selected to participate.  Sometimes the lawyers have asked for specific types of people based on their demographic profiles.  But we strive to get everyone at least one chance to participate in a focus group.

Confidentiality.  You will hear and see facts from real cases, so keeping things confidential is pretty important.  Also, we treat the information you provide to us as confidential too.  All information you provide is only used by Juror Research Project researchers.  We will never sell your information to anyone ever.

Participate. The information that you provide helps the attorneys learn the strengths and weaknesses of their case, and general attitudes, perceptions, and opinions about the case facts. Your participation helps the lawyers determine whether the case should go to trial, they should settle the case, or take a different course.  

Get Paid.  We pay via PayPal only. You get paid almost immediately, and no later than 24 hours, after the focus group is over.
